Volleyball Recap: Junction Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Veribest Falcons. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Falcons when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Junction ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.

Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Veribest, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Junction will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on La Pryor at 4:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Veribest, they will be taking part in a tournament against Andrews at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
