Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Jayhawks vs. Manila Mustangs + How To Watch

St. Joseph is 6-1 against Manila since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Jayhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Joseph lost 3-0 to Rich on Thursday. The Jayhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Manila came up short against Rangely on Saturday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Manila started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

Manila's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

St. Joseph skirted past Manila 3-2 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jayhawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
