Recap: Suburban Christian vs. Mooresville Christian Eagles
Suburban Christian were the 28-27 winner over the Mooresville Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Suburban Christian was outmatched by Mooresville Christian at home and fell 40-11.
Mooresville Christian found their leader in underclassman Addison Hayden, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hayden has scored all season. Lila Bryant was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight steals.
Suburban Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Mooresville Christian, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.
Suburban Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colonial Christian at 5:45 p.m. on February 13th. Mooresville Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
