Basketball Recap: Holcomb Comes Up Short

Holcomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 85-45 loss at the hands of the Campbell Camels. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while the Camels are ranked 67th).

Holcomb's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Campbell, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Clarkton the next time they take the court. Campbell will head out to face Clarkton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Holcomb will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
