It's playoff time, and Bishop Verot had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 58-20 win over the Clewiston Tigers. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Bishop Verot to victory were Caroline Ward and Cameron O'Halloran. Ward almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine steals, while O'Halloran went 9 for 15 en route to 21 points and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which O'Halloran has scored at least a third of Bishop Verot's points. Sofia Roman was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

Bishop Verot smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Bishop Verot's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Clewiston, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Bishop Verot will face off against Gateway Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gateway Charter will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bishop Verot surely won't give up without a fight. Clewiston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
