The home team had won the previous three meetings between Slinger and Nicolet, and Slinger kept the tradition alive. The Owls were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Knights on Monday. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.
Will Baumhardt looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

West Bend West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Slinger, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
