With a playoff win on the line, Buford rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Richmond Hill Wildcats 45-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won nine games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Dayton Raiola was his usual excellent self, throwing for 224 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Torre Costin was another key player, picking up 49 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Buford's run defense was locked in: Richmond Hill could only muster 0.7 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Jaden Davis stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Buford hasn't allowed more than 3.6 yards per carry in three consecutive contests.

Buford's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 35.4 points thus far. As for Richmond Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Coming up, Buford will square off against Newton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richmond Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
