Football Recap: Hinsdale South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Berwyn/Cicero Morton last Friday, Hinsdale South came back down to earth. The Hornets fell just short of the Leyden Eagles by a score of 21-19 on Friday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hinsdale South has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Leyden, their record is now 4-5.

As of now, neither Hinsdale South nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
