Basketball Recap: Brandon Hill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Legacy Academy over TPLS Christian Academy

Legacy Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 89-70 bruising from the TPLS Christian Academy Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), Legacy Academy still had to take the loss.

Legacy Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brandon Hill, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Hill is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Anderson Allen was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 21 points.

Legacy Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for TPLS Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Legacy Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 93-61 loss against The Carmel School on the 13th. As for TPLS Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-78 defeat against Rise Academy on the 12th.
