Preview: Cullman Bearcats vs. Pell City Panthers
The Cullman Bearcats's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Pell City Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Cullman is ranked 107th, while the Panthers are ranked 83rd).
Last Monday, Cullman earned a 57-48 victory over the Red Raiders.
Meanwhile, Pell City took a serious blow against the Spartans on Friday, falling 80-35.
The losing side was boosted by Reagan Tarver, who scored 14 points. Zaniya Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Cullman now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Pell City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season.
Cullman didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Panthers in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 57-53 victory.
