Football Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Valor Academy's offense. They had to suffer through a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Sylmar Spartans. Valor Academy lost against Sylmar in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 19-7 score last time.

Valor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sylmar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Valor Academy will venture away from home to challenge Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology on Wednesday. As for Sylmar, they will host Panorama at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
