Football Recap: Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 47-6 loss at the hands of the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-0.

Savanna McDow was her usual excellent self, rushing for 88 yards and one touchdown on only five carries for Shadow Ridge. Jaylani Palmer did her part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shadow Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shadow Ridge, they will head out to square off against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
