It was a Battle of the Birds when Lancaster challenged Palmdale on Friday. The Lancaster Eagles came out on top against the Palmdale Falcons by a score of 68-61. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three games in a row.

Lancaster's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darius Jackson, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Keelan Benjamin, who had 18 points.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carlos Rodriguez, who earned 11 points. Damari West was another key player, putting up ten points.

Lancaster pushed their record up to 9-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Palmdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Lancaster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-53 defeat against Serra on the 18th. Palmdale has also already played their next game, a 73-53 loss against Paraclete on the 20th.
