Volleyball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County lost against Dalton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders came up short against the Catamounts, falling 3-0. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Emily Vargas paced Southeast Whitfield County's offense, picking up six kills. Vargas got some help from Brielle Caldwell and her 13 assists. Briana Fraire Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-21. As for Dalton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season.

Southeast Whitfield County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dalton has already played their next matchup (against Midtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
