Basketball Recap: Reed Comes Up Short

Reed lost against Reno back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Reed Raiders were dealt a 70-36 loss at the hands of the Reno Huskies. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Josh Peterson was Reed's leading scorer, having posted six points. Peterson also led the team in rebounds with five.

Reed's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Reno, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Reed will take on Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Reed is facing Carson at the right time seeing as Carson is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Reno, they will welcome Damonte Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Reno has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
