Recap: Carolina Christian Academy vs. Sumter Christian Bears
If Carolina Christian Academy were riding high off their 69-49 takedown of the Union Christian Day Eagles last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between Carolina Christian Academy and the Bears wasn't particularly close, with the falling 85-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Aj Danzy was his usual excellent self, scoring 42 points for Sumter Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Danzy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Larry Wayne Rodgers, who scored 19 points.
Carolina Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sumter Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Christian Academy will take on the Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumter Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
