Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sabine Pass). They claimed a resounding 88-39 victory over the Johnson Bayou Rebels. The win was all the more spectacular given the Sharks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1027th in Texas, while the Rebels are ranked 315th in Louisiana).

Sabine Pass' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Johnson Bayou, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Sabine Pass will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bob Hope at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Johnson Bayou, they will venture away from home to square off against DeQuincy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
