Stratford is 1-9 against West Ashley since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Stratford Knights will face off against the West Ashley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Stratford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
Stratford will bounce into Monday's game after beating Wando, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Stratford skirted past Wando 68-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since January 3rd.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stratford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zanquel Baldwin, who posted 27 points. The dominant performance gave Baldwin a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Khristion Swift, who earned 19 points.
Meanwhile, West Ashley beat Ashley Ridge 58-49 on Thursday.
West Ashley's win came from a few key players Stratford will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lavell Minus, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. He also posted an assist, marking his first of the season. Damon Junior was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven assists.
West Ashley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.
West Ashley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Stratford, their record is now 8-14.
Monday's game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Baldwin and Kendell Mack. Baldwin has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 11.7 points. For his part, Mack has averaged 13.2 points, 1.8 steals, and 2.7 boards.
Stratford came up short against West Ashley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 65-57. Can Stratford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
