Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millbrook). They took down the Meridian Mustangs 35-21 on Friday. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Mustangs are ranked 247th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keon Lewis was the offensive standout of the match as he picked up 36 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Despite the loss, Meridian still got an impressive performance from Duke Dawson, who rushed for 114 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

The victory got Millbrook back to even at 2-2. As for Meridian, their record is now an identical 2-2.
