Basketball Game Preview: Prattville Lions vs. Tuscaloosa County Wildcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prattville Lions challenge the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday... Prattville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.

Prattville is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 78-37 defeat at the hands of Hillcrest. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Patriots are ranked 16th).

Prattville's loss came about despite a quality game from Cameron Lewis, who posted 21 points.

Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa County didn't have quite enough to beat Thompson on Tuesday and fell 56-54. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Prattville's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Tuscaloosa County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Prattville ended up a good deal behind Tuscaloosa County in their previous meeting last Tuesday, losing 92-76. Can Prattville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
