Baseball Recap: Crittenden County Victorious

Crittenden County barely beat Hopkins County Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets never let the Storm get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Jake Rich's shutout, as he gave up just six hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hudson Stokes, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Jaxton Duncan was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
