Football Recap: Cooperstown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cooperstown was the 21-14 winner over Sauquoit Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawkeyes came up short against the Indians on Thursday, falling 40-20. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cooperstown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sauquoit Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Cooperstown will host West Canada Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Hawkeyes will need to watch out since the Nighthawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Sauquoit Valley, they will take on Frankfort-Schuyler at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
