Franklin extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 8-2. They came out on top against the West Henderson Falcons by a score of 24-14. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Falcons on their field since October 28, 2016.

Anderson Terrell threw for 72 yards on eight of 14 attempts. Payton King was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Garrett Young rushed for 210 yards and three TDs.

As for West Henderson, they dropped their record down to 6-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Franklin since Friday.

Despite the loss, West Henderson still got an impressive performance from Asa Ostman, who picked up 126 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Henderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
