Softball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Tritons vs. Green Bay Preble Hornets

Notre Dame Academy hasn't had much luck against Green Bay Preble recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tritons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m.

Notre Dame Academy blew Manitowoc Lincoln out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Manitowoc Lincoln got their revenge. The Tritons fell just short of the Ships by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tritons have suffered since March 27th.

Olivia Waldrop made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Meanwhile, Green Bay Preble strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Pulaski by a score of 7-2.

Notre Dame Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Green Bay Preble, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
