Football Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce and Sidney squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Pierce had to settle for second. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Raiders. The game marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sidney, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sidney, they will challenge Fort Calhoun on Friday.
