Basketball Game Preview: Jesus Chapel Chargers vs. Immanuel Christian Warriors

Jesus Chapel is 2-8 against Immanuel Christian since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Jesus Chapel Chargers will venture away from home to take on the Immanuel Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Jesus Chapel's defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Immanuel Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, Jesus Chapel came up short against Immanuel Christian and fell 40-32. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 14-8 in the first quarter.

Immanuel Christian found their leader in freshman Kezia Rayon, who went 10 for 20 on her way to 22 points along with seven boards and six steals. Rayon is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aubrie Donahue, who posted six points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Jesus Chapel now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Immanuel Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
