Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Bob Jones Academy. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 318th in North Carolina, while Bob Jones Academy are ranked 135th in South Carolina).

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Bob Jones Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Faith Christian is on the road again on Friday to play Asheville T at 3:30 p.m. Bob Jones Academy has already played their next game (against Greenville H), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
