Soccer Recap: Munroe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gadsden County last Friday, Munroe came back down to earth. The Munroe Bobcats might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Jefferson County Tigers an easy 9-1 victory. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Amelia Accorsini, who's now up to two this season.

Munroe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Jefferson County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Munroe challenge the Gadsden County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
