Annville-Cleona hadn't done well against Lancaster Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Dutchmen won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Crusaders 21-20. The win was nothing new for the Dutchmen as they're now sitting on four straight.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Devon Englehart and Yamaliel Navarro. Englehart rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown while Navarro rushed for 61 yards and one score on only eight carries. Englehart's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

Annville-Cleona was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 272 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Annville-Cleona's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lancaster Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
