Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Picks Up Tenth Straight Win on the Road

Bishop Carroll lost to Goddard back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Lions by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

KJ McGill looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bishop Carroll saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Lager, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bishop Carroll hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Goddard struck out ten times.

The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games.
