Basketball Game Preview: Lakin Broncs vs. Liberal Redskins

The Lakin Broncs will head out to face off against the Liberal Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lakin has 12 straight victories, Liberal has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Lakin took their contest with ease, bagging a 79-30 win over Cimarron. The Broncs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Liberal played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Great Bend and fell 78-41. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Panthers are ranked 22nd).

Lakin pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for Liberal, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
