Volleyball Recap: Tates Creek's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Tates Creek came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Western Hills Wolverines 3-2 on Thursday. This was payback for the Commodores, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Tates Creek got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 24-26, 21-19.

Tates Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Western Hills, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Tates Creek will host Fleming County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
