Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaitlyn Wallace and Lucy O'daniel Lead Science Hill to Victory

There's no place like home for Science Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tennessee Vikings on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Science Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-17, 25-7, 25-13.

Science Hill was led to victory by Lucy O'Daniel and Kaitlyn Wallace. O'Daniel hit 75% for six kills and 13 digs, two aces, and one block, while Wallace had eight digs and one assist. O'Daniel is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Emily Lyon also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Science Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tennessee only served seven aces.

Despite the loss, Tennessee still got an impressive performance from Bree Adams, who had ten digs and ten assists.

Science Hill's record now sits at 13-4. As for Tennessee, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.
