Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Heights Stallions vs. Center Line Panthers

Sterling Heights hasn't had much luck against Center Line recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sterling Heights Stallions will venture away from home to face off against the Center Line Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Sterling Heights is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a hard 66-49 fall against Cousino.

Meanwhile, Center Line posted their closest victory since February 12th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged De La Salle Collegiate out 58-55.

Sterling Heights better keep an eye on TE'REZ HOLMES. He was instrumental in Center Line's win, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 16 rebounds. HOLMES is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of KAMEREN HIGGINBOTHAM, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Center Line smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

Center Line's record is now 3-1. As for Sterling Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Sterling Heights came up short against Center Line in their previous matchup back in January, falling 67-62. Can Sterling Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
