La Mirada has gone a perfect 8-0 against Warren recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Matadores will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 3:15 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (La Mirada 2.8, Warren 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

La Mirada barely beat Downey the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Matadores blew past the Vikings 11-1 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Matadores in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

La Mirada got a massive performance out of Kevin Jeon, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Justin Torres, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Warren didn't have quite enough to beat Millikan on Wednesday and fell 4-3. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

La Mirada pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Everything went La Mirada's way against Warren when the teams last played back in March, as La Mirada made off with a 23-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Matadores since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
