While NELA Christian Homeschool's victory against Midstate Homeschool wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flame narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Storm 3-2. The Flame haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day NELA Christian Homeschool got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 15-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13.

The win got NELA Christian Homeschool back to even at 1-1. As for Midstate Homeschool, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. NELA Christian Homeschool is set to take on their familiar foe Acadiana Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Midstate Homeschool will square off against rival Old Bethel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
