Softball Recap: Academy of Holy Angels Has No Trouble Against Apple Valley

The matchup between Academy of Holy Angels and Apple Valley on Friday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Stars were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Stars have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Academy of Holy Angels moved to 6-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Apple Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Academy of Holy Angels will challenge St. Anthony Village at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Apple Valley, they will face off against Northfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
