Volleyball Recap: Northern Adirondack Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Northern Adirondack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-18.

Braelyn Bilow paced Northern Adirondack's offense, picking up eight kills. Bilow got some help from Victoria LaBombard and her seven assists. Allie Nelson and Grace Cook kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Plattsburgh's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cali Ryerson led the charge by getting six aces and four digs. That's the most aces Ryerson has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marlie Walker, who had four digs and three aces.

Northern Adirondack's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Plattsburgh, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northern Adirondack is set to square off against their familiar foe Northeastern Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Plattsburgh will challenge rival Beekmantown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
