Baseball Recap: Grand County Takes a Loss

Grand County was the 11-1 winner over Parowan when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Grand County Red Devils took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parowan Rams on Saturday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Breckin Shepherd was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Grand County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Parowan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Grand County will host North Summit at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Parowan, they will challenge Delta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Delta will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Parowan surely won't give up without a fight.
