Antelope falls despite strong effort from Daunte Martin

Recap: Antelope Titans vs. Roseville Tigers

After flying high against the River Valley Falcons last Tuesday, the Antelope Titans came back down to earth. Antelope fell just short of Roseville by a score of 68-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Antelope has suffered yet this season.

Despite the loss, Antelope still got an impressive performance from Daunte Martin, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of SirMister Harriel, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.

Roseville found their leader in underclassman Oreste Yong, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Newton, who scored 13 points.

Antelope's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10. As for Roseville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Antelope will head out on the road to challenge Inderkum at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Inderkum has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 511 points over their last six games. As for Roseville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodcreek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65 points per game.
