Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Minster

Minster extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 10-2 in the process. They put the hurt on the Parkway Panthers with a sharp 20-6 win. Considering the Wildcats have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Parkway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games.

For Parkway's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Triplett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Triplett's first of the season. Another was Jack Yoder, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minster will take on Indian Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Parkway, they will square off against Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
