Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Sentinels vs. Copper Hills Grizzlies

Mountain Ridge had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Copper Hills Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sentinels also won the last time the pair played back in September.

One reason for the win was Mountain Ridge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Livolsi, who had six digs.

Despite the loss, Copper Hills still got an impressive performance from Kielana Gasu, who had seven digs.

Mountain Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Copper Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Mountain Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bingham on the 16th. After both having extra time off, Copper Hills and Corner Canyon will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
