Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cannon County). They came out on top against the White County Warriors by a score of 13-10 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cannon County now has a winning record of 9-8. As for White County, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Cannon County will face off against Forrest at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for White County, they will take on Warren County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
