Basketball Game Preview: Lakota Tech Tatanka vs. Mahpiya Luta Crusaders

The Lakota Tech Tatanka and the Mahpiya Luta Crusaders will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lakota Tech saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They skirted past Todd County 47-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tatanka.

Meanwhile, Mahpiya Luta blew past McLaughlin, posting a 62-26 victory.

The win got Mahpiya Luta back to even at 1-1. As for Lakota Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Lakota Tech came up short against Mahpiya Luta in their previous matchup back in January, falling 70-66. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mahpiya Luta's Josh Anderson, who went 9 of 13 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and five rebounds.
