Pete Moore Dazzles in Martin County Victory

Starting off the list is Martin County's Pete Moore, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Moore rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes.

Martin County pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Moore and Martin County will be playing at home against Bertie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jah Sheppard Makes It Two for Martin County

Keeping Moore company is Jah Sheppard, a fellow Martin County player. He rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.

If the past is any indication, Sheppard could be in store for another big game when he takes on Bertie on Friday. When Sheppard last faced the Falcons back in September, he rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown.

Tarboro Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Kamerin Mcdowell-Moore

Tarboro picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kamerin McDowell-Moore. McDowell-Moore did his part (and then some), rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also picking up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.

Gates County's probably not too fond of McDowell-Moore given he always seems to get the better of them. When McDowell-Moore last faced the Red Barons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Mason Satterfield Delivers Electric Performance Vs Gates County

Mason Satterfield put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.

Satterfield and Tarboro will welcome Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers, probably because Satterfield had a solid game then too: he rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
