Soccer Recap: Seaforth's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Seaforth was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orange Panthers. While losing is never fun, Seaforth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Orange are ranked 106th).

Seaforth's goal came courtesy of Justin Fernandez, who's now up to four this season.

Seaforth's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9-3. As for Orange, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Seaforth nor Orange have any future games scheduled.
