Volleyball Game Preview: Warren Bears vs. Downey Vikings

The Warren Bears will venture away from home to challenge the Downey Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Warren got the win against La Mirada by a conclusive 3-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Matadores recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Warren took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Downey made easy work of Katella on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Warren's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Downey, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Warren suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Downey in their previous meeting on September 11th. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
