Soccer Recap: Harvey Triumphs

Harvey's matchup on Saturday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Range Raiders an 8-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Harvey considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Their offense was hitting South Range from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Arturo Rangel Murillo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Harvey's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for South Range, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Harvey has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against West Geauga on the 26th. As for South Range, they will square off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
