The Evangel Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Calvary Baptist Academy by a score of 61-58. Evangel Christian Academy has not had much luck with Calvary Baptist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Rondae Hill was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven assists for Calvary Baptist Academy. The match was Hill's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Tyrone Jamison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Evangel Christian Academy's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
