Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Julienne Catholic Takes a Loss

Chaminade Julienne Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Allie Runte was a one-woman wrecking crew For Archbishop McNicholas. as she had ten aces and four digs. Those ten aces gave Runte a new career-high. Sarah Hutchingson also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Chaminade Julienne Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Chaminade Julienne Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Archbishop Alter on the 18th. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Bishop Fenwick on the 18th.
